Time & materials billing: We come to you. We have no office or workshop. Our billing is therefore time and materials (if any). i.e. Your callout may include 2 hours of labour, a replacement cable and a return visit (15 minutes) to install a new router supplied by us or you. This does mean not every IT task is best suited to IT Nerds and you may save money taking your PC to a computer repair store.
15 minute fast fix fee: If we arrive and fix your issue within 15 minutes, you'll only pay a $82.50 callout fee ($94.57+gst for business). After 15 minutes, the full minimum one hour callout applies.
Expected commit time: Most jobs are next day unless we can fit you in same day. If it's an emergency and can't wait, our office staff can attend your site for a 100% surcharge (i.e. double usual rates).
Business hours: Our standard hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 8pm. Surcharge: Outside business hours a $50 surcharge applies for weekends, plus on public holidays and from 8pm to 8am we have a 100% surcharge (i.e. double quoted rates above).
Remote support: If we can do your job remotely and you'd like to save $25 per hour, we can use our remote desktop tool. This is a safe and secure way of working on most IT issues.
Travel: Rates above are inclusive of travel for Kapiti Coast, i.e. Paekakariki to Otaki/Manakau. Surcharge: Outside these areas a $25-$65 travel fee will apply for addresses in Porirua, Wellington and Ohau/Levin.
